Diesenhaus-Unitours has secured a block of rooms at the Maiersdorf Guest House
and Dan Jerusalem Hotel, accommodations at special rates. In order to benefit from these rates, reservations, payments and notification of changes must be made directly with Diesenhaus-Unitours and not with the hotels.
Early booking
The number of rooms is limited and we urge you to make your reservation as soon as possible and before April 21, 2019. Rooms will be confirmed on a first-come first-served basis.
Rates are in US$ per night, on bed and breakfast basis.

Pre-reserved arrival/departure transfers operated by Diesenhaus-Unitours
This is a private transfer from the airport to Jerusalem and return to the airport. Diesenhaus Unitours representative will meet you upon arrival inside the Arrivals Hall, immediately after you go through passport control. He will be holding a sign "Canadian Studies".
Price: US$ 121 per transfer (arrival or departure).
Price is per car, up to 4 passengers.
Arrival and departure transfers should be reserved on the Registration and Accommodation Form. Full arrival/departure details must be provided in advance for each transfer.
All tours include touring as per program and an English speaking guide.

Tour A - Masada and the Dead-Sea
Drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Visit the rock fortress of Massada built by King Herod the Great, King of Judea during the Roman period. Ascend by cable car and tour this ancient fortress where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans before committing mass suicide in 73AD. Continue for a relaxing floating adventure on the Dead Sea. This extremely dense and saline sea, with great concentration of minerals is a world-renowned attraction for its therapeutic qualities.
Note: Comfortable walking shoes, head covering, sun screen, bathing suit and towel are recommended.

Jerusalem is a meeting place for East and West, new and old, beauty and ruins, sacred to the three major monotheistic religions
– Judaism, Christianity and Islam - all adding to its uniqueness. On this tour you will visit the most significant sights of Jerusalem. Experience its religious sanctity, its historical sites, scents and colors.
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Enter the Old City and walk through the Jewish quarter to the excavated and restored Cardo (the Roman ancient road). See the Jewish Wailing Wall and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Proceed to the new city, view the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) and visit Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust.
Note: modest dress (no shorts or sleeveless shirts) and head covering are required for visiting holy sites.

Until April 14, 2019 - Full refund less US$ 25 handling charges.
Until May 1, 2019 - Full refund less one night charge.
Thereafter - No refund will be made.

Practical Information
Canadian Citizens travelling to Israel for a period of up to three month do not need a visa, only a passport valid at least six months from the day of their arrival in Israel.

It is recommended that you provide yourself with full medical insurance coverage before arriving to Israel.
You can take a taxi or use Nesher Tours outside the arrivals hall at Ben Gurion.
Accessibility: Buses are fast and frequent. Routes 17, 19, 30, 34, 46, 68, 69 all stop at Mount Scopus.
